  1. We held our Wear a hat day event 'Mad Hatters Tea Party' at the Royal Brtish Legion in Edgware. Everyone had lots of fun and it was a successful afternoon raising over £800. Thank you to Theoco in Colindale for sponsoring the event and Wish upon a Party for providing Alice and the Mad Hatter.

    Also a thank you again to Clee and Hy-Pro for the Bikes and scooters donated last year we had 2 scooters left for our raffle at this event you have helped make our 3 events a success.

  2. Goldbeaters and The Orion primary schools took part in the premier Brain tumour Research's wear a hat day thanks to the schools for taking part and thanks to Hayley McNamara getting the schools involved. We look forward to hearing how much they raised.

    We attended an important event at Westminster hosted by Brain Tumour Research, highlighting the lack of funding the research for Brain Tumours receives. There were many moving speeches including one from Sheila Hancock CBE please click here for press.

  5. charlie-charges-on finl sideways logoCharlie Charges On is just over a year old (February), we are amazed at our achievements and extremely happy with what a successful first year we had. We would like to thank everyone who has helped us.

    We took all our strength to set up  and would like to thank our friends and family for all the support some are also our Charlie Charges On Team - Pierre, Chantal, Clair, Sam, Emma, Lisa and Paula. Thank you for your long phone calls of encouragement when Karen was overwhelmed and didn't think she could do this especially trying to tell our story and stay strong. We appreciate every minute of your free time you gave up to help make Charlie Charges on a Success.

    Our dream was to hold a Ball in memory of Charlie so our friends helped make it happen, Emma hosted a pamper evening raising £370.51 Louisa and Clair helped run 2 stalls at a car boot sale and donated all £182 profit. Sam did Hat selfies at work raising £111.45 and we sold cakes at Broadfields school fete raising £132 this allowed us to book our charity ball. Everyone really worked hard together to get the deposit and we did it and went on to raise over £10,00 from the ball.

    Thank you to Rhys and Writings Hill Primary school for holding a hat non uniform day and donating £316.20 

    Thanks to Emily and Fairytails nursery for raising £80 making and selling hats.

    Thank you to Nikki and Corona energys for donating £650 from their charity day wth cake sale and tombola.

    Thanks to Broadfields primary School for donating £1925 and £1215 from their previous 2 green day fundraisers.

    We held our Broadwalk shopping Centre day raising £226.86 whilst promoting our Charity Ball.

    Our 10k race raising over £1000 between us all, Chantal we thought we would never make it but we did 'PROUD'. Thank you Chantal,Paula. Thank you Sandra and Emily for chosing to run for Charlie Charges On.

    Then we held our amazing ball as mentioned earlier it was everything we dreamed of raising over £10,000 thank you to our guests and team for making this happen and to our sponsors thank you to David Barnett Michael Jackson impersonater for bringing some 'Charlie' to the evening. Thank you May for making it look amazing.

    Thank you to our Ambassador Francoise Pascal raising £534.50 from her Santa Dash

    Thank you for all prize donations our events would not be so successful without these, especially  our friend Clee who works at Hy-Pro ltd they donated enough Bikes and Scooters for our events to last up until our Mad Hatters Tea party this year.

    Author Chrissi Hart dedicating her new book to Charlie, perfect for keeping his memory alive and we were very choked that she did this, thank you.

    We really couldn't do all this without the support and to all our friends/family/supporters thank you for supporting our events and help making them a success.

    Thank you all for helping keep our darling boys memory alive.

    With all your help Charlie Charges On was able to help fund way over £16,000 of Brain Tumour Research last year smashing our £5,000 target for the year.
